I served six years of active duty in the Army, and ten years in the National Guard. I currently serve on the Standish Planning Board and spend my time listening to the questions, concerns, and hopes of residents and businesses all around town, looking for ways to help them.
I’ve had a wide range of work experience, everything from working on Harleys to managing a team of software developers. I know the challenges of making it work in a tough economy. Ever since I started working in high school I’ve given 110% to everything I do. I enjoy working with diverse groups of people to deliver an amazing result, and want to use that to improve the quality of life for my neighbors. I want to be part of something bigger than myself and impact positive change for the good of our Standish community. I will listen to everyone and proudly represent all voices in Augusta.
I’m married to my best friend Lisa and we enjoy the outdoors here in Standish – fishing, camping, and cooking out are some of our favorite pastimes. In my opinion, Standish is the best place on Earth, and Lisa and I are so proud to own our first home here. I’m a proud grandpa and can’t wait to teach my grandkids how to cook.

Education is our foundation. By investing in our students, staff, and schools we can help our kids work towards a successful future.
As a veteran, I know how important it is to support the people who put it all on the line for our country. No veteran should be homeless. We need to provide more programs aimed at reducing veteran suicide and homelessness. I am committed to improving existing programs such as PTSD assistance, opioid addiction treatment, and medical care as well as improving access to existing educational programs for Maine veterans.
Affordable healthcare should be available to everyone. We need to continue to build on existing legislation to lower prescription drug and healthcare costs for the underinsured and protect women’s healthcare in Maine.
I want to protect our beautiful forests, lakes, and trail systems, and find new ways to leverage state and private funding for local recreation opportunities that protect Standish’s natural beauty. Part of protecting our environment includes utilizing technology for renewable energy sources like solar panel farms in areas with low agricultural value. I support Maine's efforts to bring in solar energy while keeping agricultural lands productive.
